Provision of reproductive health services and family planning methods for displaced Syrian refugees in Jordan.

Implementation

  1. Al Zaatari Camp; UNFPA is set to provide the camp with two fully equipped RH caravans as the first stage of expansion with one full time roster OBGYN and two fulltime midwives. Currently one RH clinic is fully operational and fully equipped to receive patients.
  2. Cyber City: The RH clinic is fully operational, equipped with medical and office supplies. A midwife and a part-time roster OBGYN specialist [1] (three days/week) are on duty.                        A cleaner is hired in order to clean the clinics on daily basis and ensure adherence to health standards.
  3. King Abdulla Park: Two caravans are provided in KAP; one is set up as a waiting area and the other one is the RH clinic. The clinic has been fully equipped with medical and office supplies. A midwife and a part-time roster OBGYN specialist[2] (three days/week) are on duty.
